In the study “Efficiency of Credit Lending Processes in German Banks” Kroog and his colleagues conclude that while institutions are reacting in the right way to new challenges, especially by implementing process optimisation to deal with greater workloads and improving their advising services to meet consumer-protection regulations, there is still room for increased efficiency.
