To carry out water price benchmarking using our comparison database, all you need is a modern web browser and a stable internet connection. No additional software installation is required. The dashboard works on any device with internet access.
How do I access the interactive dashboard after ordering?
Once PwC Solutions has confirmed your order, you can access the dashboard in your PwC Store customer account directly via the ‘Dashboards’ menu item — no installation or download required. Access is linked to your customer account.
How current are the water price data?
The data the water price comparison database is updated at regular intervals (usually annually at the start of the calendar year). The dashboard shows the latest data.
How far back does the data go?
Depending on the water supplier, the data goes back as far as 2003. This enables comprehensive water price benchmarking for drinking water suppliers, including long-term price analyses and trend observations spanning more than two decades. The dashboard shows which time periods are available for each supplier.
What price components are included in the base prices?
The base prices in the water price comparison database include the price components that are independent of consumption, in particular to meter charges and dwelling unit charges. This enables a detailed comparison of labour and basic charges with other water suppliers.
Can the pricing analysis be customized to specific needs?
Yes, through filter options — for example by federal states and cities — the analysis of drinking water prices can be further specified or tailored to your particular water utility.
