Our methodology and software for platform development

METUS by PwC is both a method and software solution that assists companies in the successful development of products. Our approach enables seamless, end-to-end digital modelling for the conception and optimisation of product portfolios, spanning from the market to product architecture and the production process. This integration and consideration of all relevant aspects result in sustainable product cost optimisation.

Our goal: reducing complexity and costs

In the shortest time frame, there was a need for an innovative and future-proof platform development. The goal was to further reduce manufacturing costs and meet the increasing market demands for usability, performance, and energy efficiency. A time frame of less than 2 years was planned between the project commission and the start of production in the factory specifically built for the platform.
