SCDDA/CSDDD module in "Check Your Value Chain"

Full compliance with PwC's SCDDA and CSDDD software

Flexible and transparent: automated risk analysis for sustainable supply chains

The German Supply Chain Due Diligence Act (SCDDA) obliges companies with 1,000 or more employees to comprehensively protect human rights and environmental standards and to fulfil their own due diligence obligations along the supply chain. It also requires transparent risk analysis, preventive measures and regular reporting – monitored by the Federal Office for Economic Affairs and Export Control (BAFA).

Your benefits

Full coverage of SCDDA/CSDDD

From automated data collection and risk-based questionnaires to BAFA-compliant reporting, the SCDDA/CSDDD module ensures comprehensive compliance.

Efficient risk management

Daily media analyses enable risks to be identified at an early stage and structured, effective measures to be planned to mitigate them.

Long-term resilience

Flexible processes promote adaptable business management and coping strategies that overcomelong-term challenges beyond regulatory requirements.

Significant time and cost savings

The optional GenAI feature of our software automates the classification and verification of submitted supplier certificates, thereby significantly reducing manual checking efforts.

Automated and continuous risk analysis for full SCDDA and CSDDD compliance

To ensure an effective strategy for your SCDDA or CSDDD risk analysis, we have developed a detailed process that continuously and automatically assesses all your business partners, providing transparency across your entire portfolio.

01

Identify risks

All business partners are automatically and continuously assessed through every step of the SCDDA or CSDDD risk analysis: from macroeconomic assessment and media analysis to the integration and evaluation of relevant benchmarks, certificates, and risk-based questionnaires as well as the consideration of internal risks that are reported through the whistleblower system, for example.

02

Evaluation and prioritisation

Once risks have been identified, you can send standardised or customised questionnaires to suppliers to obtain more detailed information and evidence. You then assess and prioritise your risky business partners and the identified risks based on an evaluation of their respective influence, contribution to the cause and the severity of the violation.

03

Definition of preventive and remedial measures

You select suitable preventive or remedial measures for each legal position from PwC's best practice catalogues. The catalogues are stored in our SCDDA/CSDDD software and can be adapted to your individual requirements.

04

Tracking implementation

Our software for SCDDA and CSDDD summarises the measures you have defined, including deadlines and responsibilities, allowing you to track the implementation of the guidelines at a glance and check the effectiveness of the mitigation measures.

05

Automated reporting

In addition to visualised standard reporting, the module also allows you to create your own reports and customise filters, evaluation and detail levels according to your individual preferences, which you can then download via Excel if desired.
