Abstract

Consecutive waves of digital innovations have been reshaping consumer markets for years. However, in retail banking, no significant shift of customers between players has appeared to have taken place. Lessons from one European market suggest that this status quo could be coming to an end and that both innovative challengers and traditional banks should start getting ready for the upcoming change.
